Idealist, Realist or Your Own Choice

These are some of the titles that people are given or have tag their self with. Here is the Encarta Dictionary definition of a Realist;

1. pragmatist: somebody who only considers things as they are or appear to be, and avoids ideals and abstractions
2. adherent of realism: somebody who practices realism in the arts or believes in philosophical theories of realism

Now here is the Encarta Dictionary definition of an Idealist;

1. impractical person: a perfectionist who rejects practical considerations too much of an idealist to compromise with her opponents
2. somebody with high ideals: somebody who aspires to or abides by high standards or principles
3. philosophy believer in idealism: a believer in a philosophy holding that material objects do not exist independently of the mind

Now when it comes to definitions of anything, who is to say that the meaning should be what it says. If I would need to carry a tag, I would call myself a Creator, this is because my ideal of reality is that I create what I think, what I feel, what I do, and most of everything else that happens in my world when it comes to me. Life begins with creation
and everything around it, so I choose that title.

The Beginning of Greatness

Do you know what make certain people reach great success in sports? If not allow me to tell you, it is their mindset. Your mind is the beginning and the end of what can be achieved in your life. Let’s take for example two athletes that have identical size, weight, and body composition. What makes one go on to have great success and the other one not able to have the same success? I know people would like to come up with all types of different reasons. The first and foremost reason is mindset.

An athlete can train his body for whatever sport he participate in, but if his mind is not condition right, they want excel to the best of their abilities. If you are parents of young children that play sports or will be playing sports I have written this for you. If you as a proud parent would love to see your child make it to the success level, it will begin with your mindset; this is because you are the initial programmers of your future star mind.

How many young athletes at the high school level that you see that goes through four years of high school sports and spends most of that time on the sideline? Why do you think they are on the sideline? In my opinion you are either a good athlete or you not and if you have the mindset that just being on the team are alright with you or them then they belong on the sideline. I know you may say that someone has to be on the sideline, and you would be right, but it doesn’t need to be your child.

What make you think that some kids of good athlete follow in their parent footsteps and goes on to be good their self? No it’s not breeding, its not luck, and it don’t have to do with their parent abilities. Its mindset, I would believe that one of the biggest reason that Michael Jordan was as good as he was, had to do with that he never went around holding the thought that someone else was better them him or that he was stoppable, I would believe that he or someone condition his mind to believe that he was the best and no matter what it took he would succeed. This is where greatness begins and once your mind is right good things will follow.

If you have children that you would like to see come up in sports and be able to buy you that dream home in the future, you must invest in their mindset training now. I guarantee Tiger Woods, Peyton and Eli Manning and a list of other great athletes parents did. So think about ways to assure your child of being the best that they can be for their good and just maybe yours.
