Can Chaos Lead To Success?

Worry, frustration, confusion, sleeplessness and fear are all components of the chaotic mind, making just one simple goal difficult to achieve and hindering success.
There is no success in a mind of chaos. One needs to attain peace and calmness in the mind in order to encourage positive thoughts.
Normally one finds it very difficult to manage and control the mind. Sometimes, one may feel that the mind is similar to a balloon, blown by the wind, taken to any direction and circumstance the wind takes it. When things come out well, the mind is contented, but when things go badly, instantly the mind becomes very unhappy.
Because the mind and one’s emotions are connected, a disturbance in one will distract the coordination and harmony of the two. For instance, when one gets the result or the relationship that he wants, such as a partner, a job promotion or a new car, one bonds to it very tightly.
However, because often, these possessions and relationships are uncontrollable, the moment that one is separated from all these causes so much pain. And all the negative emotions causes chaos.
Such mood fluctuations arise for the main reason that one is closely attached with the outside situation. However, when the mind is relaxed, one makes an inner room and clearness which enables one to control and manage the mind despite the external situation.
Gradually one develops mental balance, which is a state of the mind that is happy and positive always; confused mind moves back and forth between the intemperance of despondency and excitement.
In meditation, one can achieve a peaceful and calm mind that is free of worries and anxiety, so one can experience happiness, encouraging and attracting positive behavior; a chaotic mind, only attracts negative feelings and behavior, therefore it is a barrier to setting and achieving goals.
With a chaotic mind one will have a hard time experiencing happiness, even when one is already in the best of circumstances. Constant meditation trains the mind to gradually be more and more cheerful and peaceful, eventually experience balance and happiness, being able to stay positive even in the most complicated or worst situations. This is a state of mind that is very crucial to achieving success.
The mind is like a station, sending out energy or power signals (your beliefs and thoughts). These energy and power patterns are then grasped by the subconscious mind that is responsible for creating the circumstances, situations and events to assist one in achieving what one’s beliefs, thoughts and goals are.
The subconscious mind never distinguishes what is bad or good for you; it only acts on what instructions it receives from the conscious mind, meaning what your thoughts and beliefs are.
So while there is that desire in you that you want to accomplish a certain goal, if you do not truly believe and truly trust that will be able to, if you, with your chaotic mind constantly think about the reason why you can not achieve something rather than why it will be easy for you to do it, then you will be sending instruction to your “subconscious mind” to establish certain circumstances in which it will be difficult for you to accomplish your goals.
This is the reason why negative thoughts should be eliminated and only entertain positive thoughts, all the time.Constant positive affirmations likewise attract positive situations, and influence the subconscious to create a situation favorable to you. Affirmations are positive thoughts spoken with great trust, faith and absolute power that what you say, you will accomplish.
Remember, first and foremost to keep a focused mind and never entertain negative thoughts. However, should a negative thought enter your mind, block it off with positive thinking and never, never affirm it. For like the chaotic mind, verbal affirmations can greatly affect your attitude towards accomplishing your goals.
Never be a prisoner of the chaos in your mind. Release all those hurts, frustration and anger that you feel deep inside. Look at the world in a different point of view and believe that you can accomplish anything as long as you have faith in you that you can.
There is no success in chaos, and chaos will not lead to success. It is balancing the mind, releasing all stress that the mind feels, letting go of all negative thoughts and making a clear image of the life that you want to live, can there be success. NLP Secrets

Beware the Closed Mind

Success in its broadest meaning is not limited to only monetary and material possessions. It reveals as being plentiful in countless and several forms in life and nature.

The universal spirit of consciousness, craves to continuously manifest and express itself; this power likewise expresses its longing to demonstrate success, which is naturally wanting to develop, to grow and become bigger and stronger.

However, many realize this longing and natural inclination for growth repressed in them, because of negative thinking, unconstructive programming, and not having enough faith in their abilities and themselves.

Every individual has dual natures. One wants the self to move forward while the other feels like pulling back. The one nature that one concentrates and cultivates on determines what one is at the final end, as both natures tries to hold and to be in control.

One’s “will” resolves the issue alone. An individual by one utmost attempt of the “will” can change one’s whole vocation and accomplish miracles. Which is why having an open mind is very significant.

One having a closed mind grasps to a concept without much concern for evidence. They might have even reached at their concept without supporting material evidence. As a result, when one is presented with evidence that is contradicting to their concept, they immediately dismiss it.

Whereas one having an open mind before reaching any conclusion, considers first the many evidences approving or disapproving the many interpretations of the concept. They do not just gather information. Their concern encourages them to weigh what they have learned and work towards reaching a decision or conclusion based on facts and evidences.

An open mind allows one to magnetize opportunities and insist and continue on following opportunities, regardless of how small they appear. An open mind is open to all opportunities and possibilities, big or small.

A closed mind however, is stubborn, wanting what the mind envisions without any delay and wanting it as exactly as what the mind perceived it to be, not willing to accept or try something else in its place, when that which the mind has envisioned can not be accomplished or reached.

When one closes his mind and becomes stubborn, one in essence tells his higher self, including the “powers of the universe” that one is not eager to mature and encounter new things, so then there will be no progress and no transformation and things in one’s life will never have a chance to improve.

Whatever the mind can envision, the mind can create. What the mind sees believes feels and thinks are all conveyed to the subconscious mind that then works along with the universal forces and establishes your reality centered on the visualization of the conscious mind.

Bear in mind though, that it is not sufficient to merely imagine and hope it materializes. Having the power to imagine means also having the power and the capability to work on it to achieve it.

You can achieve it when you open up your mind to success and get rid of limiting thoughts. As to how restricted your life may be and what the circumstances present you at the moment does not really matter, because when you decide to change your attitudes and thoughts, and begin to think without notable limitations, your life’s direction will begin to change.

Focus on possibilities, rather than limitations and expand your thoughts to what is that you believe as yourself.

Here are guidelines on how to program your thoughts for success:

1. Continuously and abundantly display images of your “model” persons, whom you want to become, and things that you want to accomplish. Read magazines containing stories and pictures of lives that you wish to attain.

2. Read autobiographies of successful people. Constantly read self-progress materials packed with examples and ideas of women and men who had set goals, overcome hardships and misfortunes and accomplished what they aimed for in the end.

3. Always affirm yourself. In each undertaking, take the time to focus, “close your eyes” and set a clear mental image of the outcome. Then repeatedly say and claim that you have already achieved it.

4. Nourish your mind with positive thoughts before sleeping, after waking up, at lunch break, anytime. Do not give a chance for negative thoughts to enter into your mind.

Thoughts hold great power. Be conscious of the thoughts that comes into your mind; let the positive in, never entertain the negative. Open up your mind to possibilities and never be afraid to try; if you fail, take it as an opportunity that you have learned so much from failing and try again.

If Jesus Christ Was Proven To Be a Black Man

For many years any association with Jesus Christ have portrayed him as white in color and for most Christian this has been an acceptable portrayal. I was born and raised in the United States of America and for the majority of my life I have consider myself to be of the Christian faith which makes me a follower of the teachings of Jesus Christ. One of the most important teachings that were express by Jesus was that we love each other.

Getting back to the title of this article, the United States along has one of the largest Christian faith structures in the world. There are millions of followers of Jesus Christ here of all nationality and colors. I often think what if it was proven that Jesus was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt to be a black man what would happen to Christianity here in the United States. Would religion of the Christian belief in the United States change from how we now know it? My belief of this would be yes, it shouldn’t, but I know in my heart that it would.

I know that this article is a sore subject in the mind of many but each of us know ourselves and our beliefs. So I would like each one of you think about this and leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

You Can Only Count on YOU!

Here is an article that I would like to share with you my readers. The writer is one of my favorite authors.

My dear friend, Greg Joseph, told me years ago, "There is only one person you can trust in this world... yourself." I got very frustrated with this remark until he fully explained what he meant. He told me that if you trust yourself and your inner guidance then you will always be on track. He didn't mean that other people were untrustworthy. It's just that everyone is attracting through their own focus and perception. Trust your wisdom and you'll always be led down a perfect path.
Today his advice couldn't be more important. Here in the United States, many people have been focused on the chaos in the real estate and mortgage worlds. The economy has been a huge focus in the presidential campaigns. Now we have huge companies going bankrupt and the government is doing their best (this fact would be up for debate by many!) to smooth things out. Where has your focus been when it comes to a down economy? Are you bracing for the worst? When your family, friends and clients speak to you from a place of panic, what do you tell them?
It's easy to jump into fear with the masses when times are tough. It happens with natural disasters and terrorism, too. We imagine the worst. We empathize with the people who are most impacted. We feeeeel horrible!
I'd like to offer you a way to jump out of the fear and into certainty. It goes back to trusting yourself. If you are always creating your reality by giving your focus to a topic, then focus on what you want, not what is unwanted. Focusing on the worst that could happen is not really making your situation better anyway. Decide what is that you DO want. You cannot intend for the rest of the world but you can impact your situation. You can also be a soother to your family, friends and clients. By soothing their fears, it will be easier for them to come back to their inner guidance and impact their situations from a more powerful perspective.
Yes, there are facts happening out the world that aren't so pretty. But let those facts motivate you to do what you can to create a better situation for yourself and others. Educate yourself about what solutions are possible. Go with the choices that feel good to you. Above and beyond all else, trust yourself and your decisions. Be the person that lands feet on the ground, shoulders back and smiling.

Your Money is Looking for You

Push the pause button on your life for a moment.
Take a nice deep belly breath in and let it out slowly. Do it again. Slowly...in and out.
Now imagine that the money you've been wanting is like a long lost lover. There is an emotional connection between you. You've been separated due to some past decisions. You've lost touch and you've now come to the realization that you want this lover back in your life.
You may feel like finding your money is like looking for a needle in a haystack. But just like in the movies, it can have a happy ending. Your money is looking for you, just as you are looking for it. It wants to be with you forever. All you have to do is let it in the door.
You see, it's been knocking and you've been afraid to answer. You've been afraid that it will tease you. You think it'll come in your life and then disappear again. Or you might think you're not worthy of it yet, needing to struggle a bit more. You may think it's just simply too good to be true.
Are you ready to decide that your beloved money is for real? That it will be loyal to you if you give it chance? Your money wants to serve you. It sees you as worthy right now.
You see, this process is very real. If you decide to feel worthy of more money in your life and you literally put out the "Welcome" mat, it will show up. It is Law.
The decision is all up to you. You either let it in or you don't. You either focus on it being missing from your life or you allow it in, with your arms open and ready to receive.
You'll have to put a pause button on the worrying, concerns, stress and debating about money. This includes all things money related: your job or business, your mate's income, how you spend your money, your future plans, your investments, what other people are making or spending, etc. You've got to stop tripping yourself up with your doubts. There is no logic in worrying, therefore it is not helpful to do so.
Your wealth is depending on you to simply open up. It wants you as much as you want it. Decide. If there is any more action you have to do to let it in, you'll know. It will become very clear to you and you won't be figuring it out. You know what they call that, right? Yes, it's inspired action. It's all fun and games from that point.

The fall of A Once Great Nation

There once was a great nation that stood head and shoulder above any that stood before it’s time. This nation amplified great power, wealth, and democracy throughout its land.
The nation that I am talking about is the great Roman Empire.

The reason for my writing this article at this time is because I would like to discuss some of the causes that led to the fall of such a great nation. At the beginning of Roman Empire there was both an Eastern and Western Roman Empire. After years of civil wars the western empire lost its status and fell. Now after becoming the dominant power of the Roman Empire the Eastern Empire over time began a downward spiral of destruction within itself. It became an empire that was divided among itself, its main ruler became a figurehead only, and it became a country that was dependent on its military above all else.

The Roman Empire was a nation that was built on a rotten system from its inception, after some time they became a nation of moral decay, there was an unsound economic policy, a monetary system that was always on the verge of collapse and towards its end it begin an attempt to conquer there neighboring countries in order to acquire their supplies because of depletion of their own.

Let me ask you, do the Roman Empire sound like another great nation that you might be familiar with? This being an election year for the Presidency of the United States of America, I ask myself does it really matter who takes over that position. We are a country that is now divided among itself, our nominees are fighting each other tooth and nail for control of a failing system. For centuries the United States has mark on all of its currency God Bless America. I now believe that it is time to change that to God Help America.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming

Each of us happen to possess in our skulls, the most sophisticated computers ever conceived of and no one thought to provide instructions. No wonder changing how we do the simplest task, often meets with failure. If you climbed behind the wheel of a car for the very first time and had no instructions to guide you, how far do you think you'd get before driving into a ditch or up a telephone pole? So, how do NLPer's create the knowledge necessary to learn how to operate our own minds?Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) studies the structure of how humans think and experience the world. Obviously, the structure of something so subjective does not lend itself to precise, statistical formulae but instead leads to models of how these things work. From these models, techniques for quickly and effectively changing thoughts, behaviors and beliefs that limit you have been developed. Many of the models in NLP were created by studying people who did things exquisitely well. Let's use something called sub modalities as an example of how a model works. By understanding how we perceive the world through our five senses, we can then understand how some people can respond very resourcefully in a situation and others do not. Once you learn how those who remain resourceful set up their representations, then it's a simple matter to teach others to do the same thing.I highly recommend you continue your investigation of how NLP can enhance all aspects of your life from improving your relationships with loved ones, learning to teach effectively, gaining a stronger sense of self esteem, greater motivation, better understanding of communication, enhancing your business or career. False Comfort Zone

It is my belief that most people are living in what I call a false comfort zone. Also they have been living this way for so long that even if they are not satisfied with the way their life is going, they have learn to just accept it. I believe that if individuals were to look and realize the uncertainty that living this way could bring, there would be no comfort in continuing to accept certain conditions in their lives. Over the months we have heard of major companies closing ,foreclosures and other economical problems. I would encourage you all to find ways to prepare yourselves for the coming times. Some ways would be to begin a saving account, evaluating your skill level, and watching your spending. These are just a view ideals, but there are many. Basically it is all up to you.

Be A Master Receiver

Jeanna Gabellini
My grandmother was incredibly dear to me. I loved to take her to do things she wouldn't treat herself to experiencing and whatever else I could do to make her life easier. But I have to tell you, she made it hard. She was not good at receiving with joy. She tried to pay me back for whatever money I'd spend, even if I picked her up a carton of milk. I used to get frustrated and eventually I just learned to laugh. I knew it was her belief of her own worthiness, stubbornness and pride.
Grandma Frances also had this habit of feeling guilty when someone went out of their way for her. Now, none of her reactions to receiving love, assistance and money did her any good. In fact, it stopped more abundance from coming her way. She was grateful and resistant at the same to time to receiving from other people. She was also the same person who would complain if her family didn't visit her enough. Ah, the contrast!
I have a little bit of my grandmother's emotional response to receiving inside of me. In the last two weeks I've had two beautiful parties thrown for me in honor of my baby that is due on Labor Day, Sept. 1, 2008 (pretty funny, huh? Labor Day!) . I felt a bit odd that the hosts of the parties, Eva Gregory and my Godmother, we're going to all of this effort and expense on my behalf. I was thrilled with being the guest of honor and at the same time guilty for receiving their generosity. That didn't feel good!
I thought I was good at receiving before this last month. But I discovered I had conditional receiving skills. I'm cool if you want to buy me dinner, give me amazing service at a great price or for free, give me coaching or consulting or help me move. But if someone wants to spend more than a certain amount of money or time on me, I get a bit uncomfortable. I had to figure out what that was about because it didn't feel good and I knew it was putting a kink in my line of prosperity.
It became clear that there were two reasons I wasn't at ease with receiving abundantly from others. The first is that I was afraid they might think I wasn't grateful and think ill of me. Secondly, they might resent all the effort they were putting forth and think ill of me. Bottom line: fear of rejection. Oh my! Me?! Yep.
Generally when someone is talking about attraction principles and receiving, they mean being in an allowing state. You are expecting to have your intentions met and relaxing into that truth. When you are in "receiving mode" you will feel aligned with well being and knowing that you are worthy of ALL good things that come your way. You will take responsibility for attracting both the positive and negative experiences in your life.
If I attract all that comes to me, then I attracte people wanting to celebrate me and my blessed event. I can accept the abundance and enjoy it fully knowing I am worthy. This opens me up to more good stuff. Bring it on, Universe!
Inquiry: Are there places in your life where you can open up more fully to receiving from others? How much generosity can you stand? How much are you willing to let people assist you?

A WHOLE NEW OUTLOOK IN AN INSTANT

Article written by
Eva Gregory, CPCC
Happiness is often thought of as a state of mind. This assumption is both right and wrong. It is right because when you are happy, you usually have happy thoughts in you mind. You have a positive outlook and your mood is generally elevated. Your outlook on life is one of hope and abundance.
I started by saying the assumption that happiness is a state of mind is both right and wrong. How can it be wrong? If it were just a state of mind, you should be able to will yourself happy at anytime? You should be able to go through life with an eternal smile upon your face, just by willing yourself to be that way. Logically, this does not make sense.
When you have some tragedy befall you in life, you will feel emotions such as sadness, despair, fear or anger. It is not possible to just feel happy. Have you ever heard someone say, Stop being depressed, just be happy. So while, happiness is part of the equation, it is not the whole equation. There must be something more.
What I propose is that happiness is a state of BEING. This has to do with perception. You mind constantly gathers information about it environment through your physical senses. Your perception of sight does not exist in your eye it exists in your mind. Your brain takes electrical impulses and translates them to sensory information.
The next thing that your mind does is evaluate that information. Is it a good sensation? A bad sensation? Does the smell of cookies unlock a memory of childhood? It is our perceptions of our environment that elicit certain emotions. These perceptions are unique to the individual.
For instance, suppose the smell of cookies makes you think of home and the holidays. It can be a positive emotion such as happiness that can occur. But let us suppose that it reminds you of your grandmother, who recently passed away. The same sensation can create a feeling of loss and sadness.
If you can change your perception of the world into a positive one, then you can unlock sustaining happiness. Sure, there are moments in life that do not make us happy. If you exist in a state of happiness, other emotions such as sadness will not be so deep and enduring. You will return to your state of happiness much quicker if you cultivate it.
As I am writing this, I am reminded of the monks in Tibet. They spend their entire life, living in a state of happiness and contentment. When you see pictures of the Dali Llama he is usually smiling. If you know anything about the situation in China right now, there are plenty of things for the monks to be afraid of, yet they pray and continue in a state of happiness.
For most of us, meditating and praying all day may not be possible, however when you have moments that can be filled with these things, then you shift towards enduring happiness can occur. Take a few moments each day and think about all the things that you are thankful for. Hold these images in your mind and bask in their glow. Even as the images fade, the feeling will continue to exist in your heart.

PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS

Article written
by Eva Gregory, CPCC

With International Happiness Day quickly approaching, it made me think about our right to be happy. In the United States Constitution is the right to pursue happiness. I think this is a noble idea, but if that were true why does it seem that some many people are having such a hard time finding it?
If we are pursuing happiness, that means that it must exist somewhere outside ourselves. In this scenario, our life is a treasure hunt, always trying to find that elusive happiness. We have a general idea of what happiness will be like when we find it. We base this feeling upon our experiences; Christmas morning, birthday parties, our first kiss and our wedding day. We can remember how wonderful it felt to be happy.
The truth is that a person can go through a whole life - birth to death - looking for happiness. They can think that it will always be around the next corner. When they get that new job or some other life changing event occurs, happiness seems to be elusive. It is not how they imagined the prize to be and they continue to pursue happiness.
As International Happiness Day grows closer I wanted to let you in on a secret so that you can totally appreciate what this day is all about. Happiness is not something to be pursued. You already have it. It was given to as a gift the day you were born. You experienced it the first time when you gazed upon your mothers face for the first time.
Happiness exists within each of us. So if there is any pursuit, it is an inward journey. It is waiting within your heart. Some people miss this point when they are pursuing their goal in life. They think that if they get that new car, or larger house that these things hold the final key to their happiness. While these goals are wonderful pursuits and may make a person feel good accomplishing them, they must have unlocked happiness from within.
Can people be truly happy at any point in their life’s journey? Absolutely! Since happiness is something that is contained within you, no one can take it away from you. You can give it away and share it with others, but it never is truly used up. It just fills back up within your soul.
So how can people access this happiness? Part of the key is memories. To remember what it feels like to be happy can bring that feeling in the present. When you close your eyes and think of some event in your past that made you feel blissful, you will find a smile will form on your face automatically.
The other part of the key to unlock happiness is living in the moment. You must live in the NOW. Many things can happen tomorrow or may have even happened yesterday, but you are living right now in this moment. As you focus on the immediate moment, you can create a happy moment. You can CHOOSE to be happy. When you can be in the moment, you can access your right to be happy.

I hope that you will celebrate International Happiness Day. You can learn more at http://www.InternationalHappinessDay.com

Building for Eternity

Unknown Author

An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer-contractor of his plans to leave the house-building business and live a more leisurely life with his wife, enjoying his extended family. He would miss the paycheck, but he needed to retire. They could get by.The contractor was sorry to see his good worker go and asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor.

The carpenter said yes, but in time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end his career. When the carpenter finished his work and the builder came to inspect the house, the contractor handed the front-door key to the carpenter."This is your house," he said, "my gift to you."What a shock! What a shame! If he had only known he was building his own house, he would have done it so differently. Now he had to live in the home he had built none too well.So it is with us.

We build our lives in a distracted way, reacting rather than acting, willing to put up less than the best. At important points we do not give the job our best effort. Then with a shock we look at the situation we have created and find that we are now living in the house we have built. If we had realized it, we would have done it differently.Think of yourself as the carpenter.

Think about your house. Each day you hammer a nail, place a board, or erect a wall. Build wisely. It's the only life you will ever build. Even if you live it for only one day more, that day deserves to be lived graciously and with dignity. The plaque on the wall says, "Life is a do-it-yourself project."Who could say it more clearly? Your life today is the result of your attitudes and choices in the past. Your life tomorrow will be the result of your attitudes and the choices you make today.

Some Things Happen For A Reason

Here is a short spiritual article that I like to read when things sometimes take a turn for the worse.

The Castaway and the Fire
-- Author Unknown

The only survivor of a shipwreck washed up on a small,
uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him,
and every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed
forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little
hut out of driftwood to protect him from the elements, and to
store his few possessions.

But then one day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to
find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up to the sky.
The worst had happened; everything was lost. He was stung with
grief and anger. "God, how could you do this to me?" he cried.

Early the next day, however, he was awakened by the sound of a
ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him.

"How did you know I was here?" asked the weary man of his
rescuers.

"We saw your smoke signal," they replied.

"GOD works mysteriously." He knows exactly what we need. And
because God loves us so much, He said, "Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you."

Trust in God. Trust also in Jesus Christ.

To Believe -- Author Unknown

To believe is to know that every day is a new beginning. It is to trust that miracles happen, and dreams really do come true.
To believe is to see angels dancing among the clouds, to know the wonder of a stardust sky and the wisdom of the man in the moon.
To believe is to know the value of a nurturing heart, the innocence of a child's eyes and the beauty of an aging hand, for it is through their teachings we learn to love.
To believe is to find the strength and courage that lies within us. When it is time to pick up the pieces and begin again.
To believe is to know we are not alone, that life is a gift and this is our time to cherish it.
To believe is to know that wonderful surprises are just waiting to happen, and all our hopes and dreams are within reach. If only we believe.

Make A Choice

Below is a story that I read that spells out a lesson in choices.

An old farmer went into a health food store and checked out
the new-fangled juicers, blenders, and appliances. He asked
the young girl who worked there about a thermos, saying "What
does this do?"

The girl replied that the thermos would "keep hot things hot, and
cold things cold." The farmer thought he could find a use for it,
so he bought it.

A week later the farmer brought the thermos into the store
and angrily said, "It doesn't work!" "You said this would keep
hot things hot and cold things cold, and it doesn't do it."

The employee asked patiently, "Well, what did you put in it?"

"A cup of coffee and a popsicle," replied the farmer.

The lesson of this story is that sometimes you have to choose
one or the other. When you choose everything you just get
nothing.

Mother Teresa Quote on People

"People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives, be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies, succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat on you. Be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; give the world the best you've got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; it was never between you and them anyway."

7 Step Secret to Success

STEP #1: See your destination in your mind. “When you don’t know where you’re going, any road will get you there.”–White Rabbit

STEP #2: Start Walking.“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” –Lao Tzu (604 BC - 531 BC)

STEP #3: Think Ahead As You Walk.“It’s like driving a car at night. You can see only as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way.” –E.L. Doctorow

STEP #4: Don’t Quit Walking.“Don’t wait. Where do you expect to get by waiting? Doing is what teaches you. Doing is what leads to inspiration. Doing is what generates ideas. Nothing else, and nothing less.” –Daniel Quinn

STEP #5: Make No Deadlines.“Patience is the best remedy for every trouble.” –Titus Maccius Plautus (254 BC - 184 BC)“I am extraordinarily patient, provided I get my own way in the end.” –Margaret Thatcher, April 4, 1989

STEP #6: Look back at the progress you made each day.“God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning – the sixth day.” –Genesis 1:31

STEP #7: If evening finds you at the same place you were this morning, take a step before you lay down. “The magic isn’t in the size of your actions, but in the relentlessness of them. It is better to burn the candle at both ends, and in the middle, too, than to put it away in the closet and let the mice eat it.” –Henry Van Dyke

The Man Who Predicted 911

Long before September 11th, Rick Rescorla, the 62-year-old head of security at the Morgan Stanley Bank, developed an evacuation plan for the bank. The bank's offices were situated high up in the South Tower at the World Trade Center. Rescorla was convinced that Osama Bin Laden would use jet planes to try and destroy the World Trade Center. The plan and its preparation were hugely unpopular with the Morgan Stanley staff, many of whom thought Rescorla was mad.
"On September 11, 2001, American Airlines Flight 11 hit World Trade Center Tower 1 at 8:46 am. Rick R! escorla ignored building officials' advice to stay put and began the orderly evacuation of Morgan Stanley's 2,800 employees on 20 floors of World Trade Center Tower 2, and 1,000 employees in WTC 5. Rescorla reminded everyone to 'be proud to be an American … everyone will be talking about you tomorrow,' and sang God Bless America and other songs over his bullhorn to help evacuees stay calm as they left the building. Rescorla had most of Morgan Stanley's 2800 employees as well as people working on other floors of WTC 2 safely out of the buildings by the time United Airlines Flight 175 hit WTC 2 at 9:07 a.m.
"After having reached safety, Rescorla returned to the building to rescue others still inside. He was last seen heading up the stairs of the tenth floor of the collapsing WTC 2. His remains were not recovered. As a result of Rescorla's actions, only six of Morgan Stanley's 2800 WTC employees were killed on September 11th, 2001, including Rick and three of his deputies who followed him back into the building.
"The remainder of this very moving broadcast focused on Morgan Stanley Bank employees who, now in tears, were praising and acknowledging Rick Rescorla for having saved their lives from total destruction that day. Many felt so guilty and apologetic [because] they had thought Rick foolish to keep preaching and standing for what he believed would happen if they were not ready. Those interviewed said they would never forget Rick Rescorla. He was their hero.

NLP Introduction

Each of us happen to possess in our skulls, the most sophisticated computers ever conceived of and no one thought to provide instructions. No wonder changing how we do the simplest task, often meets with failure.
If you climbed behind the wheel of a car for the very first time and had no instructions to guide you, how far do you think you'd get before driving into a ditch or up a telephone pole?
So, how do NLPer's create the knowledge necessary to learn how to operate our own minds?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) studies the structure of how humans think and experience the world.
Once you learn how those who remain resourceful set up their representations, then it's a simple matter to teach others to do the same thing.
I highly recommend you continue your investigation of how NLP can enhance all aspects of your life from improving your relationships with loved ones, learning to teach effectively, gaining a stronger sense of self esteem, greater motivation, better understanding of communication, enhancing your business or career. A Change in Thinking

Recently I have read a number of articles that have said that if you can change your thinking that you would be able to change your life. While there may be a lot of truth to this statement it is not one of the easiest processes to accomplish. Most individuals thinking process was created in their early years and have continue to be shape by their daily living experiences, another way to say this is, it is what your eyes see, what your ears hear, and what you was raise believing shapes your thinking now.

One question that could be asked is why you would want to change the way you think. Below I have included a list of reason why thinking changes could come into play.

1. Not living a life that’s fulfilled and happy.
2. Easily becoming upset or stressed out.
3. Unstable relationships.
4. Constant financial difficulties.

Those are only a few reasons. I believe the beginning of changing your way of thinking comes with becoming aware of the point that if your life is centered on most of the above problems, then your thinking process is in need of a change. I am in a process of making the needed changes in my own life and one method that has helped me is a system call NLP which is short for Neuro linguistic programming. Through this method I have begin to restructure my belief patterns which have improve my daily life, I have become more aware of how I was sabotaging my own efforts towards achieving more good out of life. This method of studying NLP techniques is helping me and I know it will help anyone who applies this system. I would encourage everyone to begin this process to assure yourself of the success you deserve. A link to the best program that will help you to become the best you is added with this article, click it now and change your life forever.

Be a Strategist and not a Individualist

Individualists are able to see the many conflicting aspects and polarities within themselves and in the world. The individualist deals with these irresolvable conflicts and paradoxes in part by remaining in the moment and allowing life to be as it is. There is still some confusion, however, about exactly how to navigate "what is" in a take charge way. The Individualist sees the paradoxes and contradictions of life, and accepts them, but in a passive, non-agentic way. It’s as if the Individualist resigns himself to ever ultimately knowing who he really is. The Individualist says, "I can’t control things so I’ll just accept that fact and groove on the moment."
The Strategist, on the other hand, has found a more sophisticated–and more practical–way of dealing with the paradoxes and polarities of life. Instead of merely resigning himself to the way things are, the Strategist is better able to integrate and own many different and conflicting parts of him and actually work with the ever-shifting contexts of life in a practical way. This is made possible in part by the Strategist’s new ability to consciously and intentionally generate his own meanings, to "write his own story." The Individualist sees that all meaning depends upon the context and the relationships involved, but has not yet figured out how to be in charge of this meaning-making in a practical way.
The Strategist is able to take charge of his meaning-making in a way the Individualist could not. As a result, he navigates the constantly shifting contexts he experiences, without being flustered by them. "No story is real," says the Strategist, "but that doesn’t matter. I can create a story in this moment in order to create the outcome I want, even if that story doesn’t represent ultimate truth

Moving Rocks

Here is a story I read that was written by an unknown author. Life can sometimes be a struggle and when we try to face all difficulties alone we can sometimes come up on the short end. This story could imply toward a spiritual concept for some.

A little boy was spending his Saturday morning playing in his sandbox. He had with him his box of cars and trucks, his plastic pail, and a shiny, red plastic shovel. In the process of creating roads and tunnels in the soft sand, he discovered a large rock in the middle of the sandbox.
The boy dug around the rock, managing to dislodge it from the dirt. With a little bit of struggle, he pushed and nudged the rock across the sandbox by using his feet. (He was a very smallboy, and the rock was very large.) When the boy got the rock to the edge of the sandbox however, he found that he couldn't roll it up and over the little wall.
Determined, the little boy shoved, pushed, and pried, but everytime he thought he had made some progress, the rock tipped and then fell back into the sandbox. The little boy grunted, struggled, pushed, & shoved; but his only reward was to have the rock roll back, smashing his chubby fingers.
Finally he burst into tears of frustration. All this time the boy's father watched from his living room window as the drama unfolded. At the moment the tears fell, a large shadow fell across the boy and the sandbox. It was the boy's father. Gentlybut firmly he said,
"Son, why didn't you use all the strength that you had available?"
Defeated, the boy sobbed back,
"But I did, Daddy, I did! I used all the strength that I had!"
"No, son," corrected the father kindly.
"You didn't use all the strength you had. You didn't ask me."
With that the father reached down, picked up the rock and removed it from the sandbox.
Do you have "rocks" in your life that need to be removed? Are you discovering that you don't have what it takes to lift them? There is One who is always available to us and willing to give us the strength we need. Isn't it funny how we try so hard to do things ourselves.

A Standard of Living

Here are 3 standards that each one of us as individuals that are in control of our actions should strive to perform.

Moral Code #1: Be a Person of Your Word
When you make promises and then break them, that action defines you as unreliable. As a successful being, you want other’s to rely on your product, intelligence and most importantly, you. If you need to make a commitment, be sure it is realistic and if tentative, communicate the information to the other people involved. You want to build trust, not demolish it.

Moral Code #2: Be Punctual
Whether you are an employer or an employee, understand the value of someone’s time. As we said earlier, you are busy and so is everyone else. When you are late it sends a message that you disvalue the other person.
It also says that you are selfish and inconsiderate of other people’s time. This detracts from the primary goal.

Moral Code #3: Be Honest
Speak and communicate from honesty. Misleading others, no matter how insignificant the ‘white lie’ may be still carries into your daily actions. If you don’t get caught, YOU still know that you lied. That never leaves you. The dishonesty and negativity linger. It eventually, snowballs. Instead, allow honesty to snowball into a trustworthy person, one that people count on.

It's OK to Say NO Sometimes

The below article is something that I believe would be of great benefit to all readers.

So many of us are over extended, but we need to remind ourselves that there are only 24 hours a day, 168 hours a week. If you sleep the recommended 8 hours a night, you're left with 112 hours in a week.Imagine if you work a 40 hour week--you are down to 72 hours a week. Okay, now factor everything else into those 72 hours. At some point you need to make a judgment call and realize you can't do everything all the time, or you will burn yourself out.Saying 'No' is an art form. There are many reasons why we have so much trouble saying it, even if it's in our best interest to do so. Some of the reasons include a) we don't want to hurt the other person's feelings, b) we don't want them to think negative thoughts such as we're being unkind or c) we avoid it in order to try to avoid confrontation. Many of us lack daily refusal skills. 'No' may be a mere two letters--but it is a powerful word.

1. What's or who’s at the top of your list? The starting point for deciding to retake your time is to make and set your priorities. Write down what is most important to you. Remember to include yourself and your health on the list. You can't care for others if you're not feeling well. It is often hard for most of us to be honest with ourselves. Display your list on a bulletin board, wipe board, your computer or in your journal-- anywhere as long as you will look at it often. Make sure your list includes those who need and deserve your time.

2. Take time for yourself everyday. You are important and YOU deserve to take priority on your to-do list. Make sure you give yourself some free time to pamper yourself, just relax, or work on a hobby or craft--however you like to relax and decompress. Include rewards after completing tasks. Saying 'no' is not selfish. Plus, it may allow you the time to pursue new hobbies and interests. Saying 'no' can be very good for you and your well being.

3. Be brief, direct, and honest. Do not make excuses. People respect honesty. Be fair, and most of all remember to be fair to you. Treat yourself right and you can't help but treat others right too. If you need to use humor to lighten the 'no', do it!

What Is Meditation?

Meditation is essentially about willingly being able to alter one's brain frequency to a desired state. While meditators have traditionally used several years to learn the techniques of meditation, you can now attain the same effect with brainwave entrainment. No special training or great discipline is required. Good meditation frequencies are in the alpha range, from 8Hz to 13Hz.
When a certain brainwave state is experienced and practiced over a period of time, the brain will "learn" the state change and it will become easier to self-produce the desired brainwave state at will. Thus, using brainwave entrainment, you can expect to get some of its effects later even without any entrainment.
Some people have found that half an hour a day of the Theta stage can replace up to 4 hours of sleep.

Brainwave entrainment is used in treatment of depression, low self-esteem, attention deficit disorder, drug and alcohol addiction and autism, to name a few.
Brainwave entrainment has also been found helpful in alleviating headaches and migraines.

Slow Dance

Below is a poem that I read today that I thought I would share it with you. It is written by David Weatherford. Let me encourage you to take time and see the meaning in what this poem implies.

Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round? Or listened to the rain slapping on the ground? Ever follow a butterfly's erratic flight? Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?

You better slow down. Don't dance so fast.Time is short. The music won't last.

Do you run through each day on the fly? When you ask: How are you? Do you hear the reply? When the day is done, do you lie in your bed With the next hundred chores running through your head?

You'd better slow down. Don't dance so fast.Time is short. The music won't last.

Ever told your child, we'll do it tomorrow? And in your haste, not see his sorrow? Ever lost touch, let a good friendship die because you never had time to call and say, "Hi"?

You'd better slow down, Don't dance so fast.Time is short, The music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere You miss half the fun of getting there. When you worry and hurry through your day, It is like an unopened gift thrown away.

Life is not a race do take it slower. Hear the music before the song is over.

Take Action Now

Dr. J.B. Gambrel tells an amusing story from General Stonewall Jackson's famous valley campaign. Jackson's army found itself on one side of a river when it needed to be on the other side. After telling his engineers to plan and build a bridge so the army could cross, he called his wagon master in to tell him that it was urgent the wagon train cross the river as soon as possible. The wagon master started gathering all the logs, rocks and fence rails he could find and built a bridge. Long before daylight the wagon master told General Jackson that all the wagons and artillery had crossed the river. General Jackson asked where the engineers were and what were they doing. The wagon master's only reply was that they were in their tent drawing up plans."2
It has been said that there are three kinds of people: those who make things happen; those who watch things happen; and those who don't know that anything is happening!

What type of individual are you?

Handling Stress

Stress affects the mind, body, and behavior in many ways, stress grinds away at your mental health, causing emotional damage in addition to physical ailments. Long-term stress can even rewire the brain, leaving you more vulnerable to everyday pressures and less able to cope. Over time, stress can lead to mental health problems. How to you know when you are reaching the point of being completely over stressed? Below I have included some of the signs and behaviors issue that you may begin to experience.
· Memory problems, Poor judgment, Moodiness, Short temper
· Depression or general unhappiness, Headaches or backaches, Chest pain, rapid heartbeat.
· Sleeping too much or too little, Over reacting to unexpected problems.
These are just a small amount of symptoms that are associated with stress. Taking charge of stress.
· Learn how to say "no" – Know your limits and stick to them. Whether in your personal or professional life, refuse to accept added responsibilities when you’re close to reaching them. Taking on more than you can handle is a surefire recipe for stress.
· Avoid people who stress you out – If someone consistently causes stress in your life and you can’t turn the relationship around, limit the amount of time you spend with that person or end the relationship entirely.
· Take control of your environment – If the evening news makes you anxious, turn the TV off. If traffic’s got you tense, take a longer but less-traveled route. If going to the market is an unpleasant chore, do your grocery shopping online.
· Avoid hot-button topics – If you get upset over religion or politics, cross them off your conversation list. If you repeatedly argue about the same subject with the same people, stop bringing it up or excuse yourself when it’s the topic of discussion.
· Pare down your to-do list – Analyze your schedule, responsibilities, and daily tasks. If you’ve got too much on your plate, distinguish between the "should" and the "must." Drop tasks that aren’t truly necessary to the bottom of the list or eliminate them entirely.

Don’t Be a Failure

Have you fail at anything lately? If you answer no, you may assume that to be a good thing. You would not be alone in assuming to not fail always mean good. As children we are taught that to fail is one of the worse things that can be experience through out our lives.
But my belief is that had we been taught that to live a successful fulfilling life there will be times that we should expect and except some failures. My reason behind this statement is that if you are not willing to take a chance because you are scare that you will fail, that is the biggest failure that anyone could experience.
Would you believe that there are individuals who are in the world right now that have some of the most amazing talents that will go to waste because they are scare of failure? This is because they are not willing to take a chance and that is failure in itself. Don’t let the ideal of failure keep you from moving forward, to fail in some things do not make you a failure, but to not be willing to take chances does.

It’s All How You Think

The below was written by an unknown author.

"If you think you are beaten, you are;If you think you dare not, you don't;If you'd like to win, but you think you can't, It's almost a cinch you won't; If you think you'll lose, you've lost,For out in the world you'll find Success begins with a fellow's will It's all in the state of mind."Full many a race is lostEre even a race is run,And many a coward failsEre even his work's begun.Think big, and your deeds will grow,Think small and you fall behind,Think that you can, and you will; It's all in the state of mind."If you think you are outclassed, you are; You've got to think high to rise; You've got to be sure of yourself before You can ever win a prize.Life's battle doesn't always goTo the stronger or faster man;But sooner or later, the man who winsIs the fellow who thinks he can."--Anon

Staying Motivated

If you are the type of person that consider yourself having a get up and go attitude, I know sometimes it can be hard to remain motivated. Staying motivated is a concept that for me is very challenging because it would be very easy just to coast through life and not put in an effort toward goals and visions for myself. One thing that I have begun to do is seek out others that are highly motivated individuals to associate myself with. In this way I can lean on their support and also give them support in return. You may have heard of something called a mastermind group. These groups are anywhere from 3 to 6 people that are motivated and goal oriented that comes together to give support to each other in an organize way. I believe that everyone should be part of small groups such as these because if you believe it or not everyone needs some type of support.

My Problem is Bigger Then Yours

Are you living the victim life? I am talking about the kind of life that you believe that the whole world is against you and everything that may be going wrong in your life is someone else fault.

Are you the type that if someone asks you how are you doing, your answer is usually, not too good? Well let me clue you in on something, most of the time when someone ask you that they were just being polite, so stop thinking that you now have an opportunity to start discussing your problems because most people may have problems, some I guarantee is a whole lot worse then yours and if everyone were to start expressing their problems if ask the greeting how you doing, it could become like a competition to see who having the bigger problems.

If you are having problems in your life stop focusing on how bad you may think that they are, and start seeking ways to solve them. You most likely have had problems before and you did solve them. What I am saying is don’t see yourself as a victim but see yourself as a victor, that way problems may come but you will always be up to the challenge.

Idealist, Realist or Your Own Choice

These are some of the titles that people are given or have tag their self with. Here is the Encarta Dictionary definition of a Realist;

1. pragmatist: somebody who only considers things as they are or appear to be, and avoids ideals and abstractions
2. adherent of realism: somebody who practices realism in the arts or believes in philosophical theories of realism

Now here is the Encarta Dictionary definition of an Idealist;

1. impractical person: a perfectionist who rejects practical considerations too much of an idealist to compromise with her opponents
2. somebody with high ideals: somebody who aspires to or abides by high standards or principles
3. philosophy believer in idealism: a believer in a philosophy holding that material objects do not exist independently of the mind

Now when it comes to definitions of anything, who is to say that the meaning should be what it says. If I would need to carry a tag, I would call myself a Creator, this is because my ideal of reality is that I create what I think, what I feel, what I do, and most of everything else that happens in my world when it comes to me. Life begins with creation
and everything around it, so I choose that title.

The Beginning of Greatness

Do you know what make certain people reach great success in sports? If not allow me to tell you, it is their mindset. Your mind is the beginning and the end of what can be achieved in your life. Let’s take for example two athletes that have identical size, weight, and body composition. What makes one go on to have great success and the other one not able to have the same success? I know people would like to come up with all types of different reasons. The first and foremost reason is mindset.

An athlete can train his body for whatever sport he participate in, but if his mind is not condition right, they want excel to the best of their abilities. If you are parents of young children that play sports or will be playing sports I have written this for you. If you as a proud parent would love to see your child make it to the success level, it will begin with your mindset; this is because you are the initial programmers of your future star mind.

How many young athletes at the high school level that you see that goes through four years of high school sports and spends most of that time on the sideline? Why do you think they are on the sideline? In my opinion you are either a good athlete or you not and if you have the mindset that just being on the team are alright with you or them then they belong on the sideline. I know you may say that someone has to be on the sideline, and you would be right, but it doesn’t need to be your child.

What make you think that some kids of good athlete follow in their parent footsteps and goes on to be good their self? No it’s not breeding, its not luck, and it don’t have to do with their parent abilities. Its mindset, I would believe that one of the biggest reason that Michael Jordan was as good as he was, had to do with that he never went around holding the thought that someone else was better them him or that he was stoppable, I would believe that he or someone condition his mind to believe that he was the best and no matter what it took he would succeed. This is where greatness begins and once your mind is right good things will follow.

If you have children that you would like to see come up in sports and be able to buy you that dream home in the future, you must invest in their mindset training now. I guarantee Tiger Woods, Peyton and Eli Manning and a list of other great athletes parents did. So think about ways to assure your child of being the best that they can be for their good and just maybe yours.

Praise and Worship

I believe that when it comes to praise and worship in Christian Churches it should be considered like preparing a field before the planting of seeds and that it must be done properly, if not you could not expect much growth from the seeds that are to be planted.
Through my experiences of being a regular church attendee and also being an observer of human conduct in and outside of the church atmosphere I am oblige to write this article.
Over the last year I have studied development of the human mind through techniques such as Meditation, Neuro-linguistic programming, and Hypnosis, and through my efforts and the personal impact that these techniques have had on me I feel that if church leaders were to implement this methods into their programs that it would have profound results in their congregation abilities to receive and retain more of their teachings.
Recently my church worship leader during one of our Sunday services use all of these techniques, I am sure this was without her knowledge of it. Let me explain, right after we had just finish one praise song our musician begin playing some very soft music at that time our P & W leader instructed the congregation to shut our eyes and begin taking our minds off of anything but the vision that she was instilling in our minds, with the soft music, her voice and instructions it was magical. Me being the observer that I am I did glance around to notice the effect that this had on other members and it was unbeliever.
I have came to the conclusion that if Praise & Worship leaders were to implement these methods into their services not only would it be of benefit to them but also to the entire church congregation.

When I Win the Lottery

Wow it would be great if I was to win the lottery, I would buy this, and I would buy that and most of all I would live a dream life. Would you believe that most people who play the lottery have these dreams?
I am not knocking their dreams, but what I am saying is that if the lottery is the only thing that they are counting on in order for things to be better in their lives they may be setting their selves up for a major disappointment. Yes I know someone wins it, and yes you can’t win it if you don’t play. Do you know there are individuals that put hundreds of dollars in the lottery each week? I am talking about just single individuals.
I know you would say that you would never do that, but 5, 10, or 20 dollars is not that much. Now if you take those amounts and multiply them by 52 weeks in a year, you would have 260, 520, and 1,040 dollars by the end of a year. I know that those amounts don’t come close to the millions that you would have if you was to win the lottery but those small amount would be better then a bunch of worthless pieces of paper that you have be accumulating over the year.
Do you know why lottery jackpots get so large in short periods of time? It is because million of people weekly put their small amounts of money in on this same dream. I am not telling you stop playing the lottery but what I am saying is don’t let it be your life only hopes and dreams.

Failure a Choice Not Taken

The below article is from a news letter that I read today and I found it to be motivational to me and hope that it can be the same for you.
Chances are you've read about all of the following failures who ended up making a great impact in their chosen field of endeavor.
For example, as a young man Abraham Lincoln went to war as a captain and returned as a private. Winston Churchill failed sixth grade. Thomas Edison's teachers said he was "too stupid to learn anything." Albert Einstein didn't speak until he was 4-years-old and didn't read until he was 7. Louis Pasteur was only a mediocre pupil in undergraduate studies and ranked 15th out of 22 students in chemistry.
Henry Ford failed and went broke five times before he succeeded. F. W. Woolworth was not allowed to wait on customers when he worked in a dry goods store. When Bell telephone was struggling to get started, its owners offered all their rights to Western Union for $100,000. The offer was disdainfully rejected with the pronouncement, "What use could this company make of an electrical toy."
An expert said of Vince Lombardi: "He possesses minimal football knowledge and lacks motivation." Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team. Babe Ruth is famous for his past home-run record, but for decades he also held the record for strikeouts.Walt Disney was fired by a newspaper editor because "he lacked imagination and had no good ideas." Charles Schultz of "Peanuts" fame had every cartoon he submitted rejected by his high school yearbook staff—and Walt Disney wouldn't hire him. After his first audition, Sidney Poitier was told by the casting director, "Why don't you stop wasting people's time and go out and become a dishwasher or something?" When Lucille Ball began studying to be actress in 1927, she was told by the head instructor of the John Murray Anderson Drama School, "Try any other profession.

Gloom and Doom

What type of people do you mostly socialize with? Are they the supportive, positive, upbeat, and helpful type? Or are they the gloom and doom type? These are the type that no matter what the situation is, they make it a whole lot worse, they can’t find good in anything. If the majority of your circle of friends fall into this group, that’s fine if you don’t want to accomplish much in life. But on the other hand if you are the type of individual that would like to live a fuller and more exciting life you are going to need let go of those gloom and doom friends. These individuals have an ability like some form of magic to over shadow your ambitions and goals for yourself. So start to recognize them and remove them from your circle, I know that this may sound cruel but your success depends on it.

Will Work For Food

Have you ever pass someone on the street that had a sign that said will work for food? If so how do you picture these individuals? Do you look at them as a victims of hard times or as a lazy people that need to find a real job and is just looking for someone to hand them money for standing there instead of work for food. How about the ones that have got smarter and now have signs that says, stranded please help.
I can’t help wondering what type of sign will be next, but what I do know is that these individuals are not as lazy as we may think, because it takes a lot of effort and time to travel from area to area and put in the dedication to run their business. Yes I did say business, if you thought that you could make $200 a day doing this, would you? I have heard of individuals that are actually making that amount and more.
No I don’t consider this a legit business or would encourage anyone to pursue it. But I would encourage you to begin creative thinking in seeking ideals on ways if you need to increase your finances. And please don’t let this article discourage you from helping out street vendors because they really are working for food, we all are.

The Same Old Things

Are you or anyone you know part of the same old things group? These individuals are the ones that every time you speak to them and ask what’s going on, you get the reply the same old things. I have some friends and relatives that I may have not seen or talk to in awhile but when I do that is the common response that I have heard. The same old things may be good for some people, but it definably not good for me. I look at it this way, everything in the world change by the seconds so why would I continue during the same old things day in and day out. I will let you in on a little secret if you want some different new things to begin happening in your life, first drop that reply from your response choices, now I am about to go deep here, next begin to observe yourself from outside of yourself. The way you would do this is to imagine that you are two separate you and that a smarter you is standing behind you watching your every move, now see the smarter you looking at everything that you do and either agreeing or disagreeing. Now I know that this may seem crazy but I guarantee that if you came learn to implement this method into your life that you will start to have new things going on in your life. Also let me continue to encourage you to begin meditation, it will change you beyond your belief.

Silver Lining

You may have heard the saying that every cloud has a silver lining. The meaning behind this can best be define as it is always possible to get something positive out of a situation, no matter how unpleasant, difficult or even painful it might seem. I have come to realize that if I keep this saying centered in my mind I begin to look at all situations in my life different. I no longer focus on how bad something may seem but looks for the silver lining that is there that will turn it in to a positive feeling. I know at times it may be hard to find it in the beginning and something’s would seems as though there is know way it could be a positive in it, but I attempt not to dwell on those. I believe that the more I keep my mind in a positive state the better the overall conditions of my life will be. I know that the way I live my life is through feelings so it makes the best sense that I would keep a positive feeling toward all good outcomes at all times if possible. Life is not as hard to live as most people make it; life is about knowing how to live it.

Freedom to Choose

Do you believe that you have the freedom to choose most of what goes on in your life? Or are you the type of person that believe that whatever happens is suppose be that way. If you do believe that you have the freedom to choose, what kind of choices have you been making? There are many individuals that are in this world that are going through daily hardships, could it be because they are making the wrong choices or is it just suppose to be that way. I believe that you choose. There are too many people that choose to come up with excuses on the constant bad things that may be happening in their lives instead of taken responsibility to start making better choices. It is up to you only and when you start to see this and recognize that until you are willing to take blame for what is happening in your life the same things will continue happening. Release the excuses and make the right choices now.

Beware of your Friends

My title may have said friends, but in reality you should be aware of anyone you come into contact with because there are individuals that I will call the black hole type and if you know anything about the universe a black hole is a void in space that will suck up anything that comes near it and there is no escape once you are captured. Black hole type individuals I would group together as those who are [always] angry, negative, critical, depressed, gossipy, and any other bad attitude. I come upon these types of people on a daily basis and the way I deal with it is to get away from them as fast as possible. I don’t assume that if I talk to them for awhile that I could change their thinking or anything like that, because what I have learn is that most black hole type enjoy being that way and enjoy bringing others to their side. So if you don’t consider yourself a member of that group, learn to recognize them and avoid them at all cost.

My Glance at the Future

Sometime real soon Medical and Science Professionals will start too seriously begin to promote mediation as a way of self curing many of the medical and mental conditional that are face by everyone today. By during this they will not please many of the big drug companies, these companies will hire their own people to down play the benefits of meditation because of the monetary gain and continuing sell of drugs. There have been plenty of literature that have shown that in many cases that sugar pills have be giving to patients that had known medical conditions but was convince by doctor that it was a drug that would remedy their condition and through their own mind and the belief in what was told to them receive amazing results.

For years meditation has been misunderstood, people have been led to believe that it is something that is extremely difficult to do. In the pass it was a little time consuming, but through years of research, just like technology has advanced in every area that you can imagine, meditation has not been left out. There are methods that now have move meditation in a position to revolutionize the way we live. The reason why I have written this is because, before the practice of meditation is highly profile by the media, now is the time to get your hands on this hi-tech information why it is still price reasonably. Right of this message there is a course that you may want to look into or you can also do you a search on the word meditation and look at other programs.

Thoughts Are Things

Below is a poem that I came across today, and I would like to share it with you. I personally agree with the concept that it expresses.

I hold it true that thoughts are things;
They're endowed with bodies and breath and wings;
And that we send them forth to fill
The world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought
Speeds forth to earth's remotest spot,
Leaving its blessings or its woes
Like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future thought by thought,
For good or ill, yet know it not.
Yet, so the universe was wrought.
Thought is another name for fate;
Choose, then, thy destiny and wait,
For love brings love and hate brings hate.

When Times Get Tough

I realize something over a couple months ago. One of the easiest things to do when a person decide that they want to change something in their life and begin having a little set back is to quit, then make excuses and continue doing what they been doing. This is the reality of what happens in most people life and it is a shame that most likely it will continue happening. I hope that if you are reading this that it does not apply in your case. I have had friends and family to tell me about bad situations that have been going own in their lives and how hard of times that they are having and me being the type person that I am, I try to encourage them a change of their thought process is the beginning of changing their situations. As you begin to focus away from the negativity of what at the time may be your current disposition, it can open your mind to find solutions that may help to resolve some of the problems that may be going on in your life. But one of the hardest things for most people to conceive is the concept change. You may have heard people use the remark of that I have been doing things this way all my life, and that is good if things have been going your way much of your life, but if not, it is time to change.
Here is what I would like to suggest that you do. Use my R.A.M process. Recognize that if things are not going right, Adjust your thought process, and Make the necessary change that will improve your outlook.

Do the Opposite

How has things been going in your life? Do all things or most things that you engage in turns out in your favor? If so, that’s good, keep doing what you are doing. On the other hand if it seems like no matter what you do, most things that you engage in turns out bad, it is time for you to learn how to do the opposite. Don’t take what I just said lightly because this is one of the most difficult things that we of human nature can do. Because of our own programming of our minds we are set to continue doing the same wining or defeating habits. It will be a tough fight to break free of defeating habits, but if you want to change the outcome of the way things go in your life; this is a fight you must participate in. The way you should prepare yourself is to get your mind in shape because there is where the fight and your change will take place. There are two different opponents in your mind, the one that want to keep doing the same loosing habits and the one that want to change for the better. You must begin to seriously train the second one.
Some of the ways that you can do this is by learning to meditate, self hypnosis, and reading of personal growth material. There are others, but it is up to you to seek them and apply them to your advantage. Always remember any change in you is up to you.

Lets Talk Church

My reason behind choosing this subject had to do with me attending church services today. The topic of discussion today was a vision and focus for this year. I have been a member of my church for about 7 months and in that time frame we have had a little growth in our church membership. We do not have a large membership but the church minister has chose a goal of bringing in more members and leading them to a life of understanding the Christian way. Now this is how I see it, that has been a goal of many churches for many years. Ministers have preach for years that God word never changes, which may be true, but people do. It is my belief that individuals in these times are more concern with world pleasures, and see the church as a place that only tell them how things will be better once they die and only if they follow a strict set of rules until then. I personally believe that if membership of small churches are to grow, ministers will need to get people to understand that God intentions for us as Christians ,is to live successful and abundant lives while we are here on earth and also that the church purpose is to teach them that by following the teachings of Jesus that is what they can expect to do. No God word don’t change, but ministers got to, if they are to succeed in following through on Jesus instructions.

Karma

Karma is a word that has been around for quite a while. Here is a brief concept of its meaning: Karma basically stands for the belief that a person experiences the effects of his or her personal actions--that every act or thought has consequences. Living in a balance universe, if an individual disturbs this order, he or she will suffer commensurately. But an ethical and moral life, will lead to happiness. My own personal belief is in support of this. I believe that if everyone would give merit to karma, we would live in a time of total respect for each other. Also allow me to quote to you something that was said by someone who most of you have heard of before, it goes as follows: Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them. That is one of the must powerful statements that was ever made. Let me inspire all of you that read this article to lock in your minds and hearts these messages and make them part of your life.

Learning through Living

Each of us have heard the statement, live and learn. What do you think that it mean? The way I see it is that just to go through your daily process is a learning experience in itself. You should always have conscious awareness of every aspect of your daily activities. Look for lessons in situations that you come upon through out your day. Once you start to do this you will begin to open your mind in a whole new avenue. We should all live to learn successfully and once we can master that we can then truly learn to live successfully. I hope that this is not confusing to you; I don’t mean it to be that way. I seek to learn something new everyday; I believe that in this way I am able to keep my mind focus and operating in a fully functional capability. I know that each one of you have heard or even have said the remark that, I must be loosing my mind. Loosing something normally comes from neglect or misuse of something. Don’t neglect or misuse your mind. Allow your mind to keep doing what it was created to do. That is to seek knowledge and use it for your good.

Hoping For a Miracle

Have you ever heard the phrase, hoping for a miracle? Let me tell you my theory on miracles. I know miracles happen everyday. Following is a brief definition of the word miracle: A miracle, derived from the old Latin word miraculum meaning "something wonderful", is a striking interposition of divine intervention by a supernatural being in the universe by which the ordinary course and operation of Nature is overruled, suspended, or modified. I expect miracles to happen in my life everyday and the main reason that I do is because I seek them. Let me ask you a bible base question. In most of Jesus performance of miracles did Jesus go and look for the people in need of a miracle? The answer is no, those individual had to go out and seek their miracle to make it happen. It is alright to have hope for a miracle, but if possible go out and seek it.

We all Have failed

Do you know that everyone living has fail in something more then once? If you say that you have not, you are not being truthful. You fail to walk at your first attempt, but good you didn’t give up. You may have fail in many other things through out your life. Where am I going with this you may ask? Unless you were trying to do something that was destructive in your life, any failure was at least and attempt at something that may have been of benefit to you. Some of the must successful people in history had fail many times before they finally succeeded in certain situations. There is a famous quote that says: it is better to have tried and fail then to have never tried at all. So if you know or believe that there is something that you can do that would improve your life, don’t let not trying be your failing.
